This year's blood results have shown that my iron levels were gradually declining, so I decided to have a closer look at what my typical daily nutrition gives me.
After two failed attempts of keeping a foto food log (the apps I used were too social for me, I just want to track my own food intake without having to assess others), I went for app "fitday". No fotos but you get a nice graph of your daily nutrition values with vitamins/minerals levels. Just tracking for a few days showed me I get only around 50-70% RDA for iron, vitamin E and calcium.
So I bought pumpkin seeds and oat for iron, hemp seed oil for vitamin E and calcium, and almond milk fortified with calcium.
This fitday app was enough for an approximate estimation, however I find it challenging to put every single food item and its quantity continuesly. Moreover they should go one step further and propose me foods to improve my statistics... Or is out there such a clever app already existing???
